Bird sightings: Common Merganser, Black-bellied Plover, American Oystercatcher, Semipalmated Plover, Piping Plover, Marbled Godwit, Short-billed Dowitcher, Lesser Yellowlegs, Willet, Ruddy Turnstone, Sanderling, Dunlin , Least Sandpiper, Western Sandpiper, Laughing Gull, Ring-billed Gull, Sandwich Tern, Royal Tern, Wood Stork, Anhinga, Double-breasted Cormorant , American White Pelican, Brown Pelican , Little Blue Heron, Tricolored Heron, Reddish Egret, Snowy Egret, Green Heron, Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, White Ibis, Roseate Spoonbill, Turkey Vulture, Osprey, and Palm Warbler.
